What is your most memorable wedding?
I was flown over to beautiful Malta to apply a brides Wedding Make-up. Initially the bride had a make-up lesson with the intension of applying her own make-up on her big day. After the lesson and speaking to her Fiancé, she made the decision that having her make-up professionally applied was as important as her dress, therefore flew me out and she looked fabulous!!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
I believe that your make-up should allow your natural beauty to shine through. My adjective is to:
Tailor make all make-ups to each brides needs and style.
Offer peace of mind of knowing that your make-up is going to look great on the day. Capture you at your most loveliest.
Provide beautiful flawless make-up by using luxurious premium make-up.
Ensure you are feeling relaxed and pampered on the morning of the wedding day

Providing a service that makes brides feel and look amazing.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my brides showed me her order of service. She had drawn pictures of all the wedding party and added their personal details interest, it was really fun.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typically our first meeting would be at the trial, this is when we can discuss all requirements.A make-up trial will develop a look that fits perfectly with your dress, hair and colour scheme, so that on the big day you can be confident of beautiful results and just enjoy the experience of being pampered. It’s your day – treasure the memories and those precious photos capturing you at your loveliest.
What do you love most about your job?
When my job is done and the bride goes off to marry the love of her life, this is when I feel most proud. That feeling of satisfaction knowing that the bride looks amazing.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Look after your skin: drink lots of water and moisturise. Having a good canvas to work from will give a much better end-result. Dehydrated skin can be hard to work with and can make a foundation base look much heavier than it is. Make-up ends up sitting on the skin, rather than blending with it and prevents your natural beauty from shining through.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Allowing plenty of time on the day and not feeling rushed is the key to creating a relaxed calm environment. Just sit back and enjoy the experience of being pampered.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
By having make-up professionally applied you will be flawless all day long. Ask a bridesmaid to carry a press powder compact and lipstick for you, this way you will always be camera ready.
Six things you MUA wishes you knew about your wedding day makeup
1. At the make-up trial, think about your choice of clothing: preferably something plain that wont influence the make-up
Remember your make-up is not designed to pop down the shops in – it’s to compliment the most beautiful dress you will ever wear in your life! Therefore, it needs to look flawless, radiant and defined, and perhaps this will mean slightly more than you are used to.
2. Providing images to create a mood board for inspiration is a great idea, but please be realistic
Don’t be too tempted to try something different; after all, you still want to feel like you. Try and avoid make-up trends: this can date your make-up and you want your pictures to remain timeless.
3. Trust me!
Yes, it’s that simple. I know the best products and colours to use on your face for your wedding day. We both want the same thing – for you to look gorgeous I’m not going to pull out any crazy eyeshadow colours… Just take a deep breath and enjoy having your make-up done!

Wedding Fair season
October is a crazy time in the wedding industry. Every couple are looking for that perfect supplier who will help fulfill their vision. One of the best ways to do this is at a wedding fair. This time of year they are popping up all over so won’t be hard to find one local to you.
Wedding fairs can sometimes feel overwhelming, don’t worry you are not alone. A really good tip is to choose one that you will benefit from, maybe the venue where you are getting wed. The suppliers will be relevant to you and even better recommended by the venue.
Suppliers are there to offer their services, guide you and offer inspiration. Remember they have been doing it a long time and have some great ideas! Making a connection is so important, knowing that you have 100% confidence in them will take away so much stress.
So enjoy the wedding fair season. Go with an open mind, make some great contacts and drink/eat plenty of the free champagne and canapés!
